Local Recognition

Celebrating people who represent the Heartland the right way.

Heartland Athletics Group recognizes athletes, teams, coaches, programs, volunteers, and community supporters who demonstrate growth, leadership, sportsmanship, commitment, and positive impact.

Why Recognition Matters

Every achievement has a story behind it.

Success in sports is not limited to championships, trophies, or statistics. Growth, consistency, leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship, perseverance, and service are also worth recognizing.

H.A.G. wants to help highlight the athletes, teams, coaches, and community members who are making a positive impact throughout the Heartland region.

Recognition submissions may be considered for website features, social media posts, community spotlights, event acknowledgments, or other H.A.G. communications.

β€œEvery sport can build confidence, leadership, discipline, teamwork, and community.”

Recognition Process

What happens after you submit?

H.A.G. will review the information provided and determine whether the submission fits a future recognition opportunity.

We may follow up to verify details, request additional context, obtain appropriate permission, or ask for a suitable photo.

Timing may depend on the number of submissions, available content space, event schedules, and current H.A.G. programming.

Not Just Winning

Development deserves recognition too.

Some of the most meaningful sports stories involve athletes who remained committed, became better teammates, overcame challenges, learned new skills, showed leadership, or continued working when progress was difficult.

H.A.G. encourages submissions that recognize the process behind growth, not only the final result.
